New York Holiday Train

During the four Sundays prior to Christmas, the MTA lifts the dust cover off its oldest trains, some built in the 1930s, which run along the F line, from 2nd Ave to Queens Plaza. In addition to the flickering lights and shaken-not-stirred sensation, the best part is traveling among a crowd of the vintage-clad and coiffed, and all (well, except one) ready for their close-up.
